Since May 2020, the Cobar Primary Health Care Centre has been operating a Commonwealth funded GP Respiratory Clinic next door to the general practice at 24 Harcourt Street Cobar. The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and treat people with mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia.

Since March 2021, the Cobar Respiratory Clinic has also been operating as a Commonwealth Vaccination Clinic (CVC) administering free COVID-19 vaccinations in accordance with the Australian phased eligibility.
