Our History

The NSW Outback Division of General Practice (ODGP) was established in 1995, as a not for profit company to support the development and delivery of effective primary health care services to some of the most isolated and disadvantaged communities of NSW. 

We are an independent organisation, working to capaitalise on the collective healthcare capacity of General Practice, Local Health Care Districts, Primary Healthcare networks and prominent Aboriginal Health Services in our region

ODGP has become a leading provider of nursing and allied health services within the Western Primary Health Network (WPHN), supporting better access and improved health outcomes for communities in Western NSW.
