Cobar Primary Heath Care Centre, a well-established accredited general practice has been in operation since April 2008 under the ownership of the New South Wales Outback Division of General Practice. The Practice is a lead demonstrator site for the Western NSW Integrated Care Project, a government funded partnership between the NSWODGP & the WNSW Local Health District.
Our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nursing staff, aboriginal health worker, social & community officer, allied health practitioners & mental health nurse are committed to providing a high standard of holistic, patient centred healthcare to our community & surrounding villages.
As an accredited general practice, we strive to maintain the highest standard through continuous quality improvement, GP & staff training & upskilling. The Cobar Primary Health Care Centre received the National Award of Practice Accreditation as a mark of quality, strengthening the Practice community health credentials and demonstrating our commitment to quality and safety within the practice.
Cobar Primary Health Care Centre is a bulk billing practice providing a range of services for those who hold a current Medicare card.
We recognise that each individual has very different health needs, therefore, our health practitioners will provide a coordinated team care approach to the diagnosis, management & treatment of chronic disease. Helping you to achieve your health goals, we encourage self-management in a supported way.

Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday & Thursday 9am to 6pm
Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Saturday and Sunday as advised
