Medicare Online

Medicare Business Development is responsible for promoting and supporting Online Claiming. Online Claiming aims to have clear benefits for general practices. Online Claiming allows practices to lodge Medicare, DVA and ACIR claims electronically via the internet. These benefits are prompter and more efficient payments and reduce paperwork as well as enabling secure communication within the health sector. Medicare Australia have dedicated Business Development Officers to assist practices with applications and registrations for Online Claiming. Business Development Officers are also able to answer any questions you may have about Online Claiming.  Cathy Zappia is the Business Development Co-ordinator for Medicare Australia covering the Outback region. Cathy's role is to assist Practices manage claims, payments and communication with Medicare electronically.
