Schools Early Intervention Program

A comprehensive school based screening, assessment, referral and treatment program to improve the access and support to children with learning and development difficulties.

As part of the Schools Early Intervention Program, ODGP Speech Pathologists also work with pre-school and early school age children to support their transition to school, ensuring they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The program has established links, referral and treatment pathways with other service providers including general practice, Far West Children’s Service, Department of Community and Justice Services, pre-schools, public primary schools and private allied health providers to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to service provision and support.

This program includes access to speech pathology services.
